Comments about Sutton L-Shaped Desk with Hutch:

We purchased this unit for our 6th grader. Fabulous desk with tons of workspace and area for storage. The combination of open and closed storage areas add flexibility for the user. The design makes it easy to access electrical outlets from above or below the desk level. Be prepared for a slow assembly process but the end result is well worth the time spent!

      The pedestal is actually referring to the drawers below the desk. The Hutch measures 65"W x 15"D.

    Q:

    The decor in the room where this furniture is going is definitely grey, with dark charcoal carpet. The color listed is 'bark grey', does that mean it has brown in it (it's very difficult to tell from the photos.) My wife is concerned that it will not match. Also, what is the return policy, in the event the color is too brown?

    Is the top of the desk where the hutch goes smooth? We do not want to use the hutch portion, but don't want to have exposed grooves or raw "wood".
