This bookcase is excellent - I have a SMALL house, and the space assigned this piece in the hall is restricted to a very specific measurement... This item fits perfectly, is very well made, and functionally superb. I was worried about the shipping process and how it might arrive, but it was in flawless condition - not a scratch on it. Most importantly, this piece of furniture has 'character' - it's not just a boring, traditional standard bookcase - the bead-board trim separates it from its competition, and distressed finish sets it off as well. It's sturdy and 'weighty' in a good way.

My ONLY disappointment was that the balance of this Kathy Ireland collection features a contrasting oak trim, and this particular item does NOT have that trim. It's totally black. But very good-looking anyway. I recommend it, AND office furniture.com heartily.

bookshelves fit nicely next to other pieces or each other in the set. Even though packaging is perfect I would suggest unpacking and checking the pieces. Bookshelf came with dent.

This is a very nice case but was damaged when we received it. We called office Furniture and they were very good at crediting us for the damage. Very good service and prompt delivery.

Love it! It came nearly fully assembled which I appreciate. I also appreciate that it came with "sliders" on the bottom so it was easy to slide across my hardwood floors without damaging them. Excellent product. Fast shipping.

I ordered 2 of these bookcases for a home office and they look amazing! The shelves are adjustable in height and there are also holes in the cabinet spaces for shelves to be installed. This is a nice feature incase you like to be organized and have things you want to be concealed at the same time! Will definitely buy from OfficeFurniture.com again!!
