I bought my first of these cabinets a year or so ago. It's just a handsome, solid, sturdy file cabinet, quieter (when opening and closing drawers) and MUCH better looking than a metal cabinet. The files are beautiful! We were trying to find something that fit with the rest of the office decor which is all antique furniture since our office is located in a historic house in San Antonio. These files work great and fit in very well.
